CHAPTER 01First, what kind of place Inuyama is

The northernmost point of Aichi Prefecture. To the north, across the Kiso River, are Kakamigahara City and Sakahogi Town in Gifu; to the east, Kani City and Tajimi City in Gifu; to the south, Komaki City and Kasugai City; to the west, Fuso Town and Oguchi Town. The five areas, and where the stations are

Three Meitetsu lines (Inuyama, Komaki and Hiromi) meet inside the city. CHAPTER 03Trains and cars — how you get around

Getting around Inuyama means three Meitetsu lines. The Inuyama Line for Nagoya, the Komaki Line running straight through to the subway Meijo Line, and the Hiromi Line for the hills to the east. 57 of the 58 listings tallied have a Meitetsu station as their nearest.

To Nagoya and the airport

Inuyama sits at the northern edge of Nagoya and, at the same time, next door to Gifu. The city writes that it is "25 minutes by train to Nagoya City and to Gifu City".
